Additional Instructions for Entries
  • Use the Hy-Tek "events" file posted on this page to create your entries with Hy-Tek's Team Manager. If you do not use Team Manager, you can download Team Manager 8.0 > Lite (Instructions for using Team Manager Lite).
  • All times submitted should have been accomplished during the current season in interscholastic competition and recorded in short course yards. It is essential that coaches take care to be accurate to the .00 decimal. All swimming entries (individual and relays) should include an in-season time (no NTs). Diving entries should not include points.
  • For meter swims, convert according to the accepted meter conversion table in the latest version of the NFHS Rule Book.
  • In the interest of the best possible competition, fairness, and integrity, all submitted times should be the fastest times achieved in official competition and during the current interscholastic season.
  • All official "flat-start" performances in the current season are eligible to serve as entry times for the championships. This includes non-league meets (meets vs. non-league opponents, Easterns, etc.), but does not include flying start (relay) times, scrimmages, unofficial times taken during practice, etc. The first leg of Freestyle relays can be used as an official entry time for the 50 Freestyle (200 Free Relay) or 100 Freestyle (400 Free Relay).
  • Results from an electronic electronic timing system should be used if available. If an electronic timing system is not available, official manual (stopwatch) times from three timers are acceptable for entry times.
